Dear Friends and Family, I have tried to call as many of you as possible and I am sorry to be telling this on facebook, but I just want to give you an update on Richard. 2 weeks ago he was admitted to a psychiatric hospital after pretty much destroying a room in my house. After gradual trouble with his breathing, he was transported to Henry Ford Hospital on Monday evening. The emergency doctors and nurses tried to keep him calm and on oxygen but he got progressively more agitated and his oxygen level kept going down. He is now on a ventilator in the icu. He is stable and the nurses are working hard to keep him sedated so he does not pull out the breathing tube again. (he did that twice in a 5 hour period) We are hoping that the next few days will show improvement in his condition and I will let you know how he is. Please feel free to call me or send me messages.
