Dear Friends and Family, On 30th August 2014, group of us will be setting out to climb Mount Snowdon, Wales high peak to raise awareness and funds for Smile Across Nepal. Smiles Across Nepal (SAN) is a small but growing UK-based charity which supports and deliver all around health care initiative across the footsteps of the Himalayas as well as delivering an unique health care and dental teaching programme to healthcare professionals in Nepal. This charity is special and unique as it aims to create lasting impact in rural areas of Nepal. A trip to Nepal is organised at least once a year with group of dedicated volunteers, and health care workers from UK with funding and resources that goes directly to help the community in the rural areas in the Himalayas where health care is inaccessible. Continuity of care is made possible by training local people to work in outreach clinics to perform wide variety of work including delivering birth, treating fractures, relieving tooth pain, educating the community and more.
