Dear Friends and Family, it has been a rough few days. On Tues., Lou woke up to the realization that she had totally lost her sight. We had hoped it was caused from the non-cancerous mass that had developed in December, but test have revealed that the cancer has spread to the brain surrounding the mass that has also grown quite large. It is difficult news to hear. She is in surgery now. It is estimated to be 3-4 hours. There is a Doctor that will update Dave during the surgery and they have a better idea what they are dealing with. I will post again when we have more information. Amanda and I had a good night with her last night...helped her with a shower, rubbed her down with lotion and Amanda trimmed her toe nails. We had some fun girlfriend time! God Bless Lou and her sense of humor!!! She is a dear. Know you will storm the Heavens with your prayers. Father Tom has spent time with her and was at the hospital to pray with them before surgery. For Lou to have Peace and Comfort...that is my prayer for her. Sue
