Dear Friends, the Declutter Projekt is shaping up into a beautiful initiative that has touched many lives in a positive way. When we all started this Projekt in June, I had no idea how far this would reach. We all have, no doubt, been able to remove a lot of clutter from our life and our homes in the past month, and will continue to do so. As a part of this initiative, a group of friends has come together to take this Projekt to a beautiful new level. We are organizing a Garage Sale, in association with Manorama Pathshala, a non-profit space which aims to give children aged from 4 to 12 years, who are not receiving any institutional form of education, the chance to explore, learn and engage themselves. The proceeds from the Garage sale will be used to further enrich the learning experience of the children of Manorama Pathshala. I request you to please help us in making this Garage Sale a HUGE success, by contributing Good Books, Accessories, Decor Items, Bags in very good condition, Art objects, and little or unused clothes. All the things that you dont really need would go a long way in creating a slightly better environment for these small children who have been denied the most basic joys in life. I held an art workshop with these kids, where we made some beautiful recycled bottles, and those too would be a part of the Garage Sale, along with other craft creations made by these little artists. We are in talks with some venues in the city, and will announce a date and venue very soon. Hope you all will come together and make this dream come alive.
