Dear Gateway Family, I just returned from two weeks in Europe with my two granddaughters, Natalie and Christie, who joined me on the trip. They worked hard to make their trip possible, and were a great blessing to have with me. I was able to speak at Word of Life Camp in Barcelona, Spain for the first week. Our missionary Sergio Martinez and his great staff, brought together about 230 teenagers from Spain, Italy, Argentina and Brazil, for an exiting week with the theme, “More Than Conquerors.” Natalie and Christie were both able to participate in ministry at the camp. On the Sunday following, I spoke at the San Celoni (near Barcelona) Brethren Church that Sergio and his family attend. Our second week we traveled to Lisbon, Portugal, visited the Word of Life camp there, and met with three of the pastors and missionaries our church supports. On the weekend we traveled up to Leiria, and I spoke at the Leiria Baptist Church on Sunday. They are our partners in the Mozambique orphanage project in process as I write. I was able to share in another planning meeting with their leaders, and visit the manufacturing plant that may be producing the buildings for the orphanage village on the fifty acres we have purchased in Quelimane, Mozambique. All in all, the trip was a tremendous opportunity to see what our missionaries are doing in Europe, and the way God is using them. Natalie and Christie commented about what it meant for them to see how Gateway has touched other nations and peoples with the message of Jesus Christ. Thanks for your continued support of our efforts to fulfill the Great Commission and share Christ with our lost world. This coming Sunday, I am speaking about how insights from the Lord’s Prayer have impacted my prayer life like nothing I have ever experienced.
