Dear Gay I was hired by Delta in 1977 and have continued to fly. In my work on the FA Forum, CIRP, EAP, and Conflict Resolution Team I never had the pleasure of working with you? I also am a member of The EIG Resource Pool and never met you on Special Assignments? Prior to your retirement what work did you do to improve the quality of work life and programs at Delta for the FA Group? In addition to the work I have done in IFS for the FA Group, I completed a Masters Degree in Southern History and am now a Doctoral Candidate in Southern and Environmental History with research conducted on the Labor Movement in the South. You refuse to post on WCDFA and are offended I asked the most vocal opponents of the efforts to achieve a legal voice to state their position using some measure of deductive reasoning. You posted on No Way AFA regarding my veracity but know full well I can not post my position and reasons for supporting legal representation on this site. For those who are not sure about signing a card ask yourselves Why does No Way AFA censor those who do not agree with them? Is this open and transparent? Once again, Gay you know The EIG can not negotiate on any issues regarding pay and benefits... Period. Please take the time to read the The EIG Portal and note : at no time are changes to pay referred to as pay raises instead as Pay Enhancements. As a FA Forum Rep it was made very clear to us we were never to tell the FA Group we could negotiate or achieve pay raises or changes to benefits. To do so was misleading and unethical. Are you aware that two biggest areas of concern The PPT Program and The ADAY Program and Summer Flying are not on the agenda for consideration by The EIG at their upcoming System Conference? How does the current system with The EIG provide the FA with a voice or an opportunity for meaningful change? Gay, One last question? You are retired? Why do you feel it is your role to continue to post on issues impacting current FA quality of work life and benefits? This also goes for Lance and Avery.
