Dear Girls, To those of you who claim Real women hunt deer, A real woman loves to fish, are you saying these things in the hopes of getting a boyfriend who does these things? Do you feel that if you market yourself as a hunter, fisher, or you love sitting on tailgates and watching bonfires, that you will get you a country boy? Or do you actually belong to a hunting club and go there each weekend and actually wake up before daylight and trek yourself through the woods and climb into a treee stand and wait for the buck that you so love to hunt? Or do you own a boat and take it out often, stopping to make sure your gas tanks are filled, you have ice for all the fish you love to catch, then stop and buy live bait, then actually back the trailer into the slip and launch your boat, secure it to the dock, then go park your truck? Im willing to bet one of my children that its all a marketing ploy to get the boyfriend. Also, Im willing to bet that if you actually DO enjoy these things, its only when in the company of a man who also enjoys them and is a club member and boat owner. If there are actually women who can prove my theory wrong, please tell me. Ill be tickled to hear from a girl who has her own boat and pays her own hunting club dues!! Thank you, Already have a man, the next one will also hunt, but out of state.
