Dear Globalist Abadans, The last three school years have been - TopicsExpress

Dear Globalist Abadans, The last three school years have been very rewarding for our group as we have been blessed to have a very successful reunion again. More alumni have participated and we have met many more old friends we have not seen for many years. We also raised more funds as new donors have surfaced and have gained additional guests from overseas. So far, we have been very successful in empowering students via the Student Volunteer Program, very engaged and committed in providing worthy and noble projects for our alma mater and its students, and fostering the spirit of giving back amongst our alumni. Moreover, our very own leader extraordinaire, Melody Suarez Bustos, flew thousands of miles away to accept the invitation of the school principal to provide the inspirational speech to the graduating class of 2014. During her visit, she also personally handed scholarship grants and other cash prizes to over 20 graduating students during the ceremonies. Dolores Coronado, led our Manila Team in ensuring that all projects and programs are implemented with care and that all donations are accounted for while other mentors, Belle Coronel, Jun Ignacio and Imelda Imelda Rosario Llorente provided the much needed mentorship and leadership. Remy Lesaca Donadillo, have proven to be new Training Leader as she partnered with our very own homegrown leader Denielle Espiritu (supported by past Presidents AJ Espejo and Shailla Lim and other officers) in facilitating a mini camp which was lauded by many faculties, parents, other alumni. Aside from that, we also gained another faculty mentor - Nhel Nhel Hipolito Ganibo, who also hit the deck running in providing coaching and mentoring to our outstanding group of Student Volunteeers led by Jastine Carino Jastine Cariño Dela Paz. President Jastine led the group of SVS in staging a very coordinated successful Christmas Bazaar which recorded a close to PHP 60,000.00 worth of total sales. Of course, our many donors and sponsors from all over the US and the Philippines made it possible in ensuring that the annual Pamaskong Handog become a welcome tradition in our school. As in the past, 50 students and 10 teachers were given PHP 1000.00 each as Aginaldos as part of the Christmas Bazaar proceeds. This Holiday season and for the coming New Year, we Thank you all and Mabuhay for your never ending support. Dennis Globalist - Adviser The Globalist Friends
