Dear God,I have decided to write you this open letter concerning our travails this season. Manchester United has gone through some extraordinary situations this season not because you have forsaken us but because we fully understand that you will test our belief and trust in you from time to time and see if they will waver. It is true that Manchester United hasnt been playing like we are used to but we know it is temporary. The truth is that we always knew it was going to be like this with the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson. The new coach will definately need time to bed in. We fully understand this but its something our HATERS gleefully laugh about. While I dont begrudge some teams for mocking us, it is Arsenals own I find weird. Can you imagine Arsenal mocking Manchester United? .. Its like a woman (Arsenal) that has been BARREN for 8 years making fun of another woman (Manchester United) who has delivered 5 children in that same 8 years just because she (Arsenal) finally got pregnant in the 9th year. But we all know that pregnancy cant last. They will surely have a miscarriage in the 7th month. To us, they are simply jesters and they fail to learn from history. They fail to see your hand in everything we are passing through. Our stadium was bombed during the 2nd world war, we survived.In 1968, the plane carrying our team crashed in munich killing 8 of our players, we won the european cup that same year.We trust you.
