Dear God, it is very difficult to pray at a time like this. Where do we start? What do we say? Our hearts are broken, our spirits crushed. Loss mixes with anger mixes with futility...but we choose to remember that you are still God. You are seated on the throne and you reign. This land belongs to you, Kenyans are your people and this battle is in your hands Father, comfort the hurting, heal the wounded, strengthen our defense forces, give wisdom and understanding to our security teams and our President - all who must make difficult decisions. Lord, stretch forth your hand as you did in Egypt and strike our enemies. Lord, show us how to pray during this season. Help us when we speak, teach us what to say, that we may encourage each other in these dark days. Help christians in Kenya stand in the gap and hold this line of prayer.... Amen. [[Nairobi]]
