Dear God, we know you are an awesome God. You control life and death, you know our appointed time to meet you face to face and the passing from this life to the next is never an accident. And for those who meet you, it is a wonderful thing. However, for those who are left behind its hard to deal with the lost of a close friend, a roommate, a daughter, a cousin, a classmate, someone we knew in the past, someone we only occasionally saw, whatever the relationship it is just hard to accept. We have some many questions we want to ask but the most pertinent ones are the WHY questions. Why did this happen to them? Why did it have to be so severe? Why couldnt it have been a miracle and everyone been okay? Dear Lord we accept that we will not always receive an answer because your ways are not our ways. Please provide comfort and strength during this challenging times. This is our prayer in Jesus name, amen.
