Dear Graduates of University of Gondar! Alumni activities stirring Committee of the University of Gondar in North America is in the process of publishing a special magazine in commemoration of 60 years of the founding of our renown university. The objective is to contribute to the celebration in a meaningful way by producing a magazine from alumni perspective that reflects on many facets and layers of our experiences in the campus and wider world. The magazine aims to compile personal stories, experiences, critical thoughts and other related articles written in remembering the past, reflecting on the present and projecting into the future. Many former graduates and faculty have already subscribed to the idea and forwarded their marvelous contributions. In our intention to spread the idea to as many graduates as possible, the editorial committee is taking the initiative to circulate this open invitation letter to solicit your contribution. Any contribution relevant to the occasion and essence of alumina is most welcome. This is our special invitation to you to participate. Your ideas in any form of relevant contribution to the magazine (articles, pictures, short stories, unique experiences, jokes of your time in the campus, etc.) make the magazine more valuable. Email it to the journal editors at UGRjournal@gmail. The deadline for submission is Feb. 28/2014. The magazine will be ready for the homecoming event in July. Congratulatory messages to the university or special honors dedicated to your role model faculty will be accepted as a sponsored contribution and published in behalf of a group, company, graduate class/batch, or individual person.
