Dear Grapevine, I have been working for a really great family on their yacht for about 1 year now. I really enjoy the work,the family and the crew. However there is one person on board who has been stealing from the owners. For example, he has purchased Ipads for his children on the owners credit card with the food purchase at Carrefour. He said the yachts management company never looks at their receipts. The owners have their suspicions and ask the other crew members random questions as if they already know of this persons actions. I have put in my letter of resignation as it has been a stressful situation. The owners have asked me to stay, they have even offered a bonus plus an addition to my salary and have asked me if it was because of this particular crew member. I have refrained from saying anything...as I would need a reference at the end of the day...and this crew member is the Captain. Any advice would be helpful. stuck between a rock and a hard place curious crew
