Dear Harvest Century Riders: We are disappointed to notify you that the 2013 Harvest Century ride is cancelled. The weather forecast for Sunday has worsened. Our primary concern for all participants is safety. With wind gusts of 40 MPH and heavy rain predicted, the danger of downed trees, road debris and other hazards is extreme. At this time we are not planning to reschedule the event this year. We are offering a $25 certificate, good towards your registration for next year’s 2014 Harvest Century. Please contact us at [email protected] to receive the certificate. If you would rather receive a refund of your registration fee, please let us know at [email protected] by Friday October 4th. For those who have fundraised and gathered pledges in support of Community Vision, we thank you! The final tally of all pledges soon, Community Vision will contact you to arrange for your prizes. The Harvest Century supports the nonprofit organization Community Vision, an organization with a mission to support individuals with developmental disabilities in the Portland area.
