Dear Heartland Parents, I just wanted to take a moment and update everyone on recent events and our upcoming timeline. For those of you who have not hear from your childs coach at this point, I wanted to let you know that I sent another follow-up to all coaches yesterday afternoon asking them to please reach out to parents as soon as possible. I have also followed up directly with coaches of players whose parents contacted me yesterday asking for status updates. Moving forward, all coaching matters will be handled by our Club Coach, James Panowicz. If you have any questions or concerns about coaches, please contact him directly at james@helixfin. He will be working directly with all coaches at this point. Beginning next week after Labor day holiday, we will begin the process of formalizing schedules. We ask as a courtesy that you please give us a few days before following up asking about when these will be completed. As a reminder, the first games are set for Saturday, September 13. Games will begin at 9 AM, and depending on division size, will run until 2 or 3 PM. Uniform arrangements have been made and an order was placed Thursday night. These are coming from overseas, so delivery time will be approximately two weeks. Please be assured that these will be delivered to coaches before the first game, although it may not be until a couple of days prior to the first game. We appreciate your patience while these are in transit. Some of you have been asking if your childs name can be put on the back of the uniforms. In an effort to maintain consistency and organiziation among the teams in the league, we request that names not be placed on the uniforms. We appreciate your understanding. Finally, please feel free to contact us over the weekend with any questions or concerns; however, please understand that with this being a holiday weekend, we may not get to your questions until after the holiday. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. I just didnt want anyone to think that we were procrastinating on follow-ups or overlooking inquiries.
