Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, this morning I come before You realizing that the emotions I have fluctuate so much that it can cause me to lose my blessed mind. So I know if it can be a struggle for me, it may be one for others. So I pray today that we stand on Your Word and not our emotions. The enemy would love us to second guess the Holy Spirit, diminish our worth and take ourselves out of the game of life. We throw up self created roadblocks and establish our own pitfalls and places of destruction all because we move out of emotions that are often fear, uncertainty and despair. But when we know what we hear from You lines up with the Word of God, when we see the production of fruit, in spite of ourselves, we ought to press forward and manage those emotions. I have learned how to speak to them and place them in check. It is never our desire to operate out of fear, uncertainty, anger, bitterness or frustration. But we can move solely upon the Word. That is why we must meditate on Your Word because it will give us the ammunition we need to keep moving forward. So I thank You for knowing the Word and exercising disciple so that I can accomplish that task at hand. In all things we give You glory, honor and praise, in Jesus name...AMEN!
