Dear Honey Bunnies, I hope youre snubbed in public, treated unfairly, people are unkind to you. Doesnt matter if you deserve it, maybe you will, or maybe itll be because of malicious gossip. Either way, I hope you feel the sting, the injustice, the confusion of being judged. You learn a lot about people when this happens, you learn more about yourself. Some people are mean, judgmental. Sometimes there is just a personality conflict. Or maybe they feel slighted or jealous. Doesnt matter what the reasons are, what matters is how you react. Hopefully you will continue on about your life, if it is something youve done, apologize. If you cant make it right, then learn from it. Know that not everyone is going to like you, and thats ok, surround yourself with people who do. Try to squelch the urge to retaliate, be the bigger person, make eye contact, smile, treat everyone you meet like you would prefer to be treated. Love, Mom
