Dear IGP Suleiman Abba, I wish to inform you that from constant observations, police check-points accross the country did raised the bar from the normal twenty (20) naira to fifty (50) naira, I mean, it is becoming burdensome. Even if you know this, file this notice officially for your successor. As you assume office as the new IGP, please bring down the amount to the normal price for the convenience of the road users, especially the passengers, movers of contraband goods, and for the ease of traffic flow. In the most solemn posture, I am desirous of suggesting a more innovative manner of national and community policing. Are you teaching me my job? No sir! But, rely less on this ineffective tanning under the sun and open patent medicine stores for jobless policemen. I learnt, this is how it is done in other climes. In fact, an uncle once lied to me that in the whitemans land, once you are stopped for a check by the police, that means you can hardly be free of an offence.
