Dear Iceland, They said we wouldnt last. They said I would get sick of you. They said I wouldnt be able to handle your winters. ...Wrong! Truth be told I adore you more than ever and I cant believe I leave in only one day. I love that you have crazy waterfalls with no fences because ..if you dont want to die, then you dont get too close! If you want to get up close and personal with a puffin just take notice of that little sign... you could very well fall backwards... and die. I can respect that. Resist the urge to pander to the foreigners and their ridiculous demands to be warned about every possible danger that exists. Use a tour guide you lunatics. I will miss your super friendly horses. If I stayed any longer I may have had to own a few. Icebergs floating in lakes.. thats something that should be everywhere. Lighting of your peace tower... shiny lights up in the sky and singing songs about peace is all kinds of loveliness. I have to say I was a little intimidated by the trip down that volcano.. but wow! Truth be told you really are actually kind of a show off arent you. If there ever was proof then it has to be those lights. On a clear cold winters night I will forever be looking up. I have found a love of photography because of you. I have eaten in more amazing restaurants than is fair to have in any small capital city. I have met some amazing people from all different walks of life. I will tell everyone about you .. and then secretly hope that no one comes to visit so you can stay just the way you are!
