Dear Israel (pt. 3), After escaping the Holocaust my grandmother had the most frightening stories. When she told me them as a kid my first notion of social justice was born. During the era of concentration camps there were people who could speak out against state violence and didnt. It is imperative to speak out. So how as a Jew can I speak out without Jews telling me either Im a self-hating Jew or a not good enough Jew?
