Dear John the Beloved, Greetings from Durham. I received and read your letter this morning. Indeed your personal address for me was quite appropriate considering my rapidly advancing age, yes Im an elderly lady. Thank you for your commendations about raising my children according to Gods perspective. The faith that is in them is the gift from God that I have been always praying for ever since their conception. You know, John, there have been struggles and challenges along the way during the years, but by Gods mercies and love we have survived. If you had known what we went through, you would have given us some bitter pills to wake us up, but only God by His grace and unconditional love has accepted our frailties and has forgiven our sins and iniquities through His Son, Jesus Christ. You commented on your letter about guarding ourselves from false teachers and modern theology that are rapidly eroding our hearts and minds nowadays, please help us discern by truly understanding and appropriating Gods Word everyday. The next generation ( grandchildren) will face constant bombardment of lies and deceptions, but we stand on His promise of shielding and covering them with the power of the blood of Jesus Christ. I wish to see you face to face, too, John, at the feet of Jesus in heaven. Thank you for your letter in 2nd John. (From the Bible)
