Dear Joshua, It seems like just yesterday you came into our life, a week late, and screaming your lungs out. You really did have an ear piercing scream lol. Then you went through the phase where you would hardly talk to anyone. You would just sort of glare at everyone. I thought maybe you were slow lmao. Then when you were 4 years old, you got that little black and white notebook, and instead of scribbling on all the pages like a normal kid would do, you wrote and illustrated a book, an actual book. So then I thought, Okay, so maybe hes like Rainman or something haha. But you just continued doing all these amazing, advanced things, so then I figured it out. You didnt talk to us because you thought WE were the dumb ones lol. As you got older though, I guess you decided we were okay, or maybe you just resigned yourself to the fact that you were stuck with us, but you began to talk more and you became this really awesome, fun kid. The older you became, the closer you and I got. Dad kinda hijacked Emily and Dustin, but I always had you. My little social justice warrior, my late night talk buddy, and the only person that consistently beats me at trivia. School is starting back up and my schedule is so messed up from staying up all night, spending time with, and playing games with you, but its worth it. The 22 years Ive had with you have been such a blessing. I am always so honored and so proud to call you my son. I love you, Joshy!! Happy Birthday!! Love, Mom
