Dear Julius Malema Allow me firstly to congratulate you on the launch of your new political party/ platform, the Economic Freedom Fighters. even if you are still begin delayed by IEC internal processes. and I will use the Facebook to communicate with you since this is your platform. I had often wondered whether it was sustainable for an individual of your (unique misguided) calibre to utilise platforms as means of conveying your political ideologies, which were often from an organisation you once led with passion and charisma. Economic emancipation is not a progeny or an entitlement to any individual but a resolution passed by a congress that you once presided over. It would be therefore misleading for whatever reason to portray you as an economic freedom fighter. One thing you have always been credited for was your ability to mobilise young South Africans with your unfounded populist political ideologies, and this is particular saddening considering that you have not made any tangible difference to the lives of young South Africans. The only thing you have done is to insult and scorn politicians in public on every platform provided to you. You bet titled, then minister of education Naledi Pandor by publicly mocking her English accent. How can we ever forget BBC reporter Jonah Fisher, who felt your diabolical vulgar diarrhoea, having been referred to as a bloody agent. As for president Zuma I pity him as a person and an elder to have to deal with your constant attack on him. I can’t really say I expected anything substantive from you. Perhaps you missed it but there is a wide difference between militancy and mischief. It is mischievous of you to try and link yourself with former president Nelson Mandela; it is actually an insult to his legacy. You are a young dictator in production; he is a true freedom fighter. His legacy is that of a selfless individual who could embrace his detractors. Clearly you are not convinced that your Economic Freedom Fighters party will address some of the social challenges we face as a country. That will be myopic from you. How do you envisage a productive public sector where public office bearers are still using public transport and critical government business is falling behind because of this unplanned mode of mobility? You must invest some time in thinking about what you intends saying or alternatively conduct some research. It is criminal to incite people by promising them land in a manner which you are doing. In an inclusive society we engage with and propose policies that we implement and evaluate, and if we conclude they are not addressing the challenges they were intended for, then we review and engaged again. Perhaps this might be complex to you but this is what democracy is all about. You erratic about the plight of the poor and it is easy for you to disturb peace and not provide real solutions and this is worrying as you seem hell-bent on starting a revolution I know my letter won’t deter you nor will it have effect on your political party but I pray it may appeal to my brothers and sisters who have been blinded by your misguided militancy. You wish to destabilise our economy with your constant public remarks about land grabs and hijacking of strategic economy sectors. Don’t use your political party to fight political battles. I have written on my personal capacity.
