Dear Kaitlyn Dawn Cheyanne Olson. You are mad right now, but thats because you are an almost 16 year old ball of hormones. Sometimes I dont know the right things to say. Parents dont always have all the answers, but what I do know is that you are worth more than anything in this world to me and I will never stop trying to get that point across. I know you need your friends but they will not pay your bills for you when you are out on your own. Im not raising you to depend on a man because I wasnt raised that way. You need an education to make it in anything in this world. Even with art. You meet people who introduce you to other people who, in turn, make your world spin at a constant rate of speed so you dont fall off. If your friends truly care for you, they wont be offended that you are taking some time to ground yourself in your studies but what they will mind is seeing someone so full of potential wasting time on wasting time. Maybe one day you will look back and understand. I wish my parents hadnt given up on me. Thats why Im determined to not give up on you. You are a reflection of no one but yourself. You can do this.
