Dear Karma Family: First off I have to say a very humbled thank you for all the support and offers of help. We were able to borrow the money and thankfully they came back out and turned it on tonight (otherwise we would be working by candle light) As I said sharing my story was only meant to let everyone know I understand when people need help and that is the purpose of Karma. That stuff aside yesterday I spoke with the local Red Cross and Karma in Cullman is officially listed on their resource list so that means they will be sending people to us and I told the gentleman that if I dont have it on hand that we would just post the need and someone would be willing to help within moments. So I know that sounds crazy but I am VERY proud to be on their list....I guess it means to me that maybe before long people will take us serious and help us find Karma in Cullman a home. Speaking of home lets start looking for REASONABLE priced buildings....doesnt have to be in the city because I know the rent is pretty high....I did find one in the shoppers guide for $600 per month..I am considering going to look at it and maybe explain what we are doing. I am sure it wont be free but I have learned God can do wonderful things....I really want to get a building soon.....we may have to put together one of those sad commercials (enter Sarah McLaughlin sad song) and if we had 1200 members who would donate $1 per month that should cover rent, power and internet (seems silly but since we do a lot of work online it will be necessary) I am still trying to get the gofundme fundraiser off the ground I know that if we can just get the story out there people will be willing to help even more....so I will keep harassing the media and maybe if you guys have time you can harass them too ;) I also wanted to say that in the last two days our toy donations are already coming in...which is amazing and all I can think of is how many kids will we be able to help this Christmas ;)
