Dear Kathleen Addy, I greet you with love As you may be aware, my involvement with the grassroots campaign for the endorsement of my brother Kofi Adams as the national organiser of the NDC has shifted my focus on public discourse in recent times, but a lot of nagging questions are bordering my mind. I am sure youve seen the video of the self-proclaimed prophet, Obinim stomping a supposed pregnant lady, apparently casting demons from her. Did this happen in 21st century Ghana or the dark age? Whose wife was that? When will women learn? Are women the only people with issues? How can any preacher worth the bible he preaches with use his feet to massage a suppose pregnant womans stomach? This is definitely not bible based. It is not Christianity, and it is definitely not from the Almighty God. But then again, why did the TV stations allow for such dubious content to be aired? How can a national TV allow a sorcerer to practice his trade on prime time TV? Isnt it affront to our common decency and dignity, aside of any religion, to allow this sorcerer to continue to operate in a civilized society like ours? The horrific events of Jonestown in Guyana in 1978 is fresh on our minds. We must not sit down aloof and allow the latter day Jim Joneses of this world to take us back to the stone age. Lets come together as right thinking people, and let our voices be heard. Our society can definitely do without such elements. I am entreating you, Kathy, to take a lot more interest in this matter just like you did with the Sharia MP saga. We need to emancipate our gullible women from mental slavery, and you must make this your pet project. Thank you.
