Dear Kenny, I just wanted to let you know, I think youre missing out. Im not a perfect kid, but I do think I am a pretty cool person. I think if you could get your head out of your ass for more than two seconds, youd actually be really proud of me and the person Ive grown to be. But you werent meant to be my dad. You werent meant to take care of me. And thats okay, because I think I finally found out your purpose in my life: youre motivation. You were the driving force behind me graduating high school at 15, and me joining ROTC, and me writing the depressing yet pretty awesome songs that I write. You leaving my life was probably the best thing that could have ever happened to me. So thank you. Thank you for being the motivation that drives me to succeed. Thank you for leaving so I could get the chance to have Matthew Starcher as the best dad in the world. And hey, if you ever somehow find this and read it, know that I forgive you.
