Dear Kenyans- again, it is unfortunate and sad news to hear of another death of 30 innocent and defenseless Kenyans killed in a quarry in Mandera. What can we say as a country and citizens? My hearts goes to the families, relatives and friends of those innocent hard working Kenyans who were mercilessly murdered by a faceless outfit this morning. Kenyans, we are one and we all face the same problems of insecurity. It is unfortunate that this is happening when we have our own forces in Somalia. According to locals, KDF clashed with the al Shabaab outfit yesterday at Khadija Haji village in Somalia but the latter carried out retaliatory attacks against innocent Kenyans early morning today putting us again in catch 22. Let us not fall unto the trap of those who are jealous of our peaceful coexistence and progress. We have come along way to be where we are. It is because of me and you being together as one irrespective of our ethnic, religious, cultural, and racial backgrounds. You are because I am. God protect us and guide us unto the right path!
