Dear Leaders of NRN NCC of USA and NRN Community in USA, As you all know, new reports coming out of Nepal—our native land--suggest that heavy rainfalls, landslides and floods are having divesting impact on the everyday lives of hundreds of thousands of people. Hundreds of people have lost their lives; hundreds of thousands of people have lost their homes and other properties. They are hungry and thousands of them have no clothes and shelters. Their homes are either buried under mud or flood-water. They are struggling with hunger, clothing and shelter. Just think about ourselves being in that dire situation. So, I call upon, particularly the leadership team of NRN NCC of USA to launch coordinated efforts to mobilize organizations, groups and individuals to generate support to aid the victims of the ongoing natural disasters in Nepal. Additionally, I also call upon the Government of Nepal—this is the time for the whole nation to come together-- to immediately provide relief aid and urgently come up with a long term plan to resettle the badly affected people and help them to rebuild their lives. We need collective and coordinated efforts. It is URGENT as people are in PAIN and they are HURTING! ACT NOW…!!!!! (This is my personal appeal).
