Dear Live Oak UU Community, It was my pleasure to preside over the calling of Reverent Joanna Crawford to be our minister today, Sunday, May 4. Of the membership of 154, 81% or 124 people voted in person, by proxy or by absentee ballot. When those ballots were counted, 123 people or 99.2% voted to call Reverend Joanna Crawford to the pulpit. Thank you to everyone who took the time to get to know Rev. Joanna and to vote to call our new full-time minister. Were entering a new stage in our growth as individuals and as a UU Church. I, for one, am so excited to be part of this new stage in our church life. Hooray for us and hooray for Rev. Joanna! A very excited Alice Vice President Live Oak UU Church
