Dear Lord God, I need to sit at your feet and hear your voice, I need to hear your words of comfort today, Lord. Abba Father, I ask that you would give me strength for the day. Help me love those who speak badly against me. Help me to forgive those who mean to cause me harm. Help me to love my enemies and pray for them. Help me to trust the hurtful situations in my life to your hands, knowing that you work all things together for good. Lord, I know you see everything and you know the truth...help me to remember that is all that matters. Lord, I lay all this pain and hurt at your feet and ask that you take it from me so I can be free. Father, help me today to let go of the negative feelings, the pain, the worries, and the heartache that at times feels like it could swallow me whole. Help me to trust you and be at peace because you are awake and fully aware of all that is going on with me. I praise you that even as I spend this time with you, there are angel’s surrounding me and protecting me. I am grateful and blessed to know that Jesus is sitting next to you and interceding on my behalf. I pray that you will help me to recall and picture Him praying for me, when I start to feel overwhelmed. Lord, in the stillness and quietness of this moment, I ask that you would teach me and tell me the things you want me to know that will help me grow in you. Instruct me Lord and grant me your wisdom and discernment so I can see things through your eyes. I make my life an altar to you Lord. I give you all the things that keep me from moving forward…I give you all the things that keep me from being the best I can be for you. I pray for more of your presence in my life, Father... please give me courage and a sense of calm and energy for this day. Father, I just want to sit and rest with you awhile and feel your love surround me. Thank you Lord that you never turn me away and thank you for your comfort that soothes my weary heart and mind. I love you Father and I am so blessed to know that I am your child. In the name of Jesus I pray Amen
