Dear Lord, I have been hurt so many times by people, and I am tired of the pain and anger that is making my life miserable. Please help me find the power within to forgive those who have hurt me and to cut the ties that bind me to those bitter feelings and resentful emotions. I long to be free at peace, and I know that the only path to peace is through forgiveness. Help me be the kind of person who is able to be honorable and noble by forgiving those who have hurt me. It is the hardest thing I have ever done, but with you, nothing is impossible. One of the greatest peace-robbers in our lives is anger.
