Dear Lord, I sit here thinking about my life...its been one heck of a roller coaster! I think of the people that have been in my life and some that stand by me no matter what. I would like to pray for those that judge others based on their past. Which makes me wonder if they had ever made any mistakes in their life? The answer to that is YES! The major mistake is judging! Look I know people make mistakes and we sin EVERY day!! We learn from those mistakes, move on with our lives and continue to better ourselves. Life on earth is hard enough without the labels, finger pointing and or back stabbing! If you see someone with an issue, a struggle, or on hard times as a CHRISTIAN what would God want you to do?? He sure wouldnt want you to throw a stone. Lord, I pray that people think about their words and actions, A kind word could make a difference in this life for anyone. Lord, give us the eyes to see others as you do. A heart filled with the love you have for us so that we will treat others as we want to be treated! Bring prayers back into our schools and homes. If we could set a goal of smiling at 10 people every day or speaking a kind hello to 10 people, those 10 would share with 10 and just think how many lives would be touched by the end of the day just because you started it with your smile! Its easy to tuck our tails, make faces behind backs, and make fun of others.... I challenge everyone who reads my post to spend one week saying hello to 10 total strangers, or to do 10 act of kindness to others. PER DAY!!! (Hold a door open for a mom that is trying to hold a crying baby and a toddlers hand while pushing a cart. An elderly person entering or exiting a store, let some one in front of you that may only have a few items to buy. Pump fuel for some older person that maybe having a hard time getting in or out of the vehicle ( they may not walk or drive well but dont judge just offer a kind hand) ) Its not as hard as you think. Plus it sure does make you feel better at the end of your day. Lord watch over us tonight, protect our homes loved ones and our hearts. Keep evil and hate out of our lives. Continue to bless my family, friends, church and all that I love dearly. I pray that the ones far from you will soon be drawn close. Grace us with your beauty of another day. AMEN!
