Dear Lord, Tonight I come to you feeling a bit desperate and unheard by your ears. Ive been praying daily for my good friend Norman Anderson. Lord, I know you are of aware that he is in the hospital and fighting for his life. And I know you are aware of the many people, including myself who have been praying to you for his recovery. Yet his condition is getting worse by the day. Lord, I understand someday you will need my friend in Heaven to join your Army against Evil just as I too one day will be called to your service. But Lord, if you are needing him now then why you didnt need me? You spared my life. Please Lord, please spare Normans too. When you are ready for us we will be there but right now Norman is needed right here on earth. Never mind his Mother who needs him. Or his sisters or all the rest of his family. Never mind his many, many friends who love him and who look forward to seeing his devious little smile and his soft spoken voice. Lord, Norman as you know, has a nephew whos future is so uncertain should you take Norman. A small child who needs his uncle to guide him into manhood. To teach him right from wrong. To teach him to be in your service and to put you Lord God above all else. Lord, Im feeling like at this point I need a miracle for my friend. If you dont shine your glorious light on my friend he is not going to make it. So tonight Lord Please reach down to Normans room in the hospital and embrace him as one of your own children. Know he IS a warrior in your Army against Evil as am I, and spare him his life. Know that I love you and so does my friend. Please allow the medicine the doctors give him finally start to work so that he can live and help raise this fine young boy who is his nephew. Please Lord, dont make another mother bury her only son. Norman is a fine, decent, good man who deserves you grace and compassion for more than I did. Im asking for you to save this man for just a while longer. Let him raise his nephew. In my Lord Jesus Christs name I pray... Amen
