Dear Lord, We come together with two or more gathered in your name and we know that you are in our midst. Lord, we are asking for miracles tonight. The enemy is destroying marriages left and right. We are asking for your healing hand to touch hearts, minds and relationships. We are asking for you to restore hope where there seems to be none. We are asking that you bind the enemy. We are asking that love be restored and renewed and for forgiveness to take place and for trust to be rebuilt and restored. We ask that you remove people or obstacles that might be bad influences or a dividing factor in these relationships. Lord, please help each couple and help them to know and understand that love is not just an emotion or a feeling, but a commitment and an act of the will. We must choose to love even when we dont feel like it. Feelings of love will ebb and flow...but when love is a commitment that is grounded in you, it lasts and it stands strong against adversity and the storms of life. Help these troubled relationships to start anew. Help them to remember the reasons they came together in the first place. We pray you would be the center in each life and marriage, Lord. For those with mates that have fallen away or dont know you, we ask you would reveal yourself, soften their hearts and draw them close unto yourself. For those who are bogged down with stresses that are tearing their relationships apart...whether it be financial issues, health issues, addictions, or issues with the children...we just pray that you will grant your wisdom to know how to figure these things out so they will be drawn closer together through adversity instead of being torn apart. We know Lord, that with you all things are possible. You are the great healer and you can do anything when two lives are yielded to you... Lord, we ask for divine intervention and ask that you do what only you can do. Help these marriages and families to find their way back to you as their foundation so they can stand and not just survive but thrive. Give them the courage and strength to work through the hard stuff. Please bring spouses home and parents home and heal and restore these hurting families, Lord. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
