Dear Lyme Friends, you are really on my heart today. I know this journey is hard. I know this journey is lonely. And I know many of us struggle much more than others can see or understand. I always pray for all of us to be well but we need ongoing support to get through the battle. So I really pray, above all else, for perseverance and endurance to get through each moment. I also pray on your lowest, darkest, and loneliest days that you have hope. And I pray hope tangibly shows up. On your sickest, most fatigued days, on the days you’re in tremendous physical pain and so very short of breath, I pray for deep comfort and relief. On the days you have to do what you feel you cannot do, I pray you have great courage. On your most broken, discouraging days, I pray you have a hand to hold onto. I pray love floods your soul. And I pray grace completely envelopes you. On the days you feel most overwhelmed and misunderstood, I pray peace fills your spirit. On the days when your heart is heavy and hurts really bad, I pray loving-kindness and compassion surrounds you. And on the days you doubt yourself and feel most lost, on those days when fear and insignificance try to sneak in, on the days you don’t have the strength to keep believing anymore, I pray God reminds you who you really are. And you are His Beloved. He believes in you. So do I. You are truly bravehearts. And I love each of you. Don’t give up. Let’s keep holding on together
