With only twenty-six US model 308 GTB QVs built in 1985 and with 1985 as the last year 308 GTB series built, s/n 53477 represents the last, the best and the most collectable of the Ferrari 308 GTBs. The best and the last of the user-friendly 308 GTB series, just serviced and with only 39,703 miles, priced right at $64,950. 1985 Ferrari 308 GTB QV Serial Number 53447 1985 Ferrari 308 GTB QV s/n 53447 photo S/n 53447 was sold new in Newport Beach, CA, has been in southern California since new and comes with voluminous ownership and service paperwork from its purchase. All major mechanical components have been serviced through its life and so the engine, transmission, brakes and suspension work as new. This is a wonderful driving 308 GTB QV, the syncros work smoothly, the clutch is light to use, grips quickly and the car can be thrown into corners with total ease and confidence. Performance is excellent thanks to the smooth power curve of the last evolution of the 308 GTB engine. The body is exceptionally straight and dent free. The Ferrari red Rosso Corsa paint is nearly flawless and the leather is in unusually nice condition. There is no evidence of accident or rust repairs to the body, underside or chassis. The body, paint and interior are all original and in superb condition. The trim, gaskets, window glass and lenses are also in excellent condition. The black rubber bumpers are excellent with no discoloration. It is fitted from new with the Factory optional 16 inch wheels with near new 205/55 VR 16 front and 225/50 VR 16 rear Pirelli P Zero tires. The interior is finished in exceptionally nice black leather and like everything else on this Ferrari, they look like they are from a near new car. The door panels, carpets and dash are also all in excellent condition and look near new. The car makes excellent power with no smoke, and has excellent oil pressure. The suspension is firm yet compliant, and the brakes stop the car effectively and evenly. Second gear synchro is very good, both when warm and cold. All the switches and gauges are fully operational, including the Blaupunkt radio. There are only 16 miles since this Ferrari had a $8,100.86 engine-out cam-belt 30k service, and a full A/C service. 308 GTB QV s/n 53447 is complete and comes with a voluminous service and ownership file, the original California pink slip title dated 19 Dec., 1984, the original sales brochure delivered with the car when new, the warranty card with the original owners name confirming only one owner, the owners carrying pouch and all books, the tool roll and all tools, the jack kit, car cover, emergency light, and dash cover. Even has a correct 16 spare wheel and tire! 308 GTB QV s/n 53447 is in amazingly nice condition for a 30 year old Ferrari and has obviously been a One-Owner, Pride of Ownership Ferrari. Only 16 US model 308 GTB QVs were built in 1983, 14 in 1984 and 26 in 1985, for a total of only 56 US model 308 GTB QVs ever built!
