Dear Mayor Earl Bullard (Letta, SC), You need to resign from office and step down from your seat. Your decision to fire your police chief because she is openly gay is the most prejudice and inane decision one could ever make. In addition, she has served and protected over 20 years on the police force and is more than well-deserving of her rank. Your decision is also contradictory to freedoms and values that our great country constitutes. And how dare you say you would rather have somebody that drinks around your children. Id like to see you say that when that person is behind the wheel with your children as passengers. My countys appointed Sheriff is gay and Im happy about that because it gives this city a little diversity and value. Ive spotted him a few times around the city and hes huge; hes a nice guy but I would not dare agitate a man of his size. Hes done an excellent job in helping establish my city as one of the SAFEST CITYS IN THE UNITED STATES! Simply put, he rocks! I have faith in him, as well as many others, that he will continue to do so. So with all said and done, Im hoping a state senator of South Carolina will intervene and fine a better-suited mayor to replace such incompetence.
