Dear Mbogua, Thank you for your fantastic support throughout the Mitchell campaign. It was a great result for the Liberal party nationally! It was especially pleasing to see the many new volunteers who came forward this election, to ensure the defeat of the worst government in Australia’s history. With your assistance we obtained a great result for Mitchell with a swing of 5.08 per cent and an increased margin of 72.24 per cent. Visit the AEC Virtual Tally Room for further detailed statistics. We also raised substantial money for our NSW key seats and had our Liberal supporters assisting throughout the key seats of Parramatta, Greenway and Robertson. As a member of the Abbott Government, I will be working hard for us locally and for Australia. This starts with strengthening our economy nationally. Specifically on your behalf I will continue fighting for smaller, better and limited Government as well as advocating for the concerns of our Mitchell community. The Prime Minister, the Hon Tony Abbott has already begun delivering on our election commitments with the abolition of the Climate Commission and working on the West Connex project, saying “It’s our highest priority project to get Sydney moving” Again, it is a real privilege and honour to be re-elected to serve the community of Mitchell and to serve as part of the Abbott Government.
