Dear Members, Please join me in congratulating our Board Member, Mentor and Role Model Pamela Dio who has been selected as a delegate for International Visitor Leadership Program, a global initiative of the US Government. The program connects current and emerging foreign leaders with their American counterparts through short-term exchanges to build mutual understanding on foreign policy issues. Pamela is among the 22 participants from 20 countries all over the world who have been nominated to represent Kenya and East Africa in exploring Environmental Protection & Biodiversity Conservation. Among the states that she will visit include Washington DC, Annapolis, Portland Oregon, San Diego California, Santa Catalina Island and Los Angeles. She jets out of country today and she will be away for four weeks. Pamela who works for Nature Kenya has an outstanding career in conservation and environmental management. She has made Undugu proud and thus privileged to be associated with her. On behalf of the Board and the entire Undugu family I congratulate her and wish her the very best in this life changing one month trip/stay in the US.
