Dear Members The Council and Members of the Malaysian Pharmaceutical Society wished to express its deepest sympathy to the family on the demise of the late Mr Alex Tan Choo Jow on 1st February 2014. The late Mr Alex Tan Choo Jow was the President of the Malaysian Pharmaceutical Society for the period 1977-1981 and 1985-1997. He made significant contribution towards the MPS history and the pharmacy profession. For his contribution he was honoured by being among one of the first to be bestowed a Fellow of the MPS in 1977. His contribution among many others, includes providing significant input into the Pharmacy Legislations, past member of the Malaysia Pharmacy Board and providing input in the pharmacy industry. The family had arranged a memorial service on his behalf. When convenient please do visit.
