Dear Members and Friends: Please see the following announcements regarding parking restrictions and the World Series this Wednesday and Thursday: 1)Red Sox message on parking restrictions in the Fenway 2)Parking options for residents have been offered at Northeasterns Camden Street Parking Lot and the Columbus Surface Lot- PLEASE NOTE THAT A FENWAY/KENMORE STICKER AND PROOF OF ID IS NEEDED TO UTILIZE THIS OPTION AS WELL AS A PRINT-OUT OF THE LETTER: --------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Everyone! In preparation of this weeks deciding games of the World Series at Fenway Park on Wednesday, October 30th or Thursday, October 31st we would like to share with you the following information provided by the City of Boston regarding parking bans, street closings and parking garage/lot restrictions in the Fenway area. The outcome of the World Series will be determined this week at Fenway Park onWednesday, October 30th or Thursday, October 31st. As a result, the following traffic plans are expected to go into effect after the 7th inning of both games. Vehicles at such times will not be able to exit from garages and lots in the following areas: Brookline Avenue : From Beacon Street (Kenmore Square) to Park Drive, except for garage/parking lots that have no other exit to another public way. All vehicles exiting under this condition shall turn in a southerly direction towards Park Drive when the conditions allow. Ipswich Street : From Boylston Street (at Hemenway Street) to Boylston Street (at Park Drive). Lansdowne Street: From Brookline Avenue to Ipswich Street, vehicles in those lots may be held until any public safety issues have been resolved. Van Ness Street: From Ipswich Street to Kilmarnock Street. Yawkey Way: From Boylston Street to Van Ness Street. Kilmarnock Street: From Boylston Street to Brookline Avenue. KENMORE SQUARE IN ITS ENTIRETY Commonwealth Avenue : From Massachusetts Avenue to the BU Bridge. Beacon Street : From Park Drive to Bay State Road. Newbury Street Extension : From Brookline Avenue to Charles Gate East. Kenmore Street : From Newbury St. Extension to Commonwealth Ave. Park Drive : From Beacon Street to Louis Prang. Deerfield Street : From Bay State Road to Commonwealth Ave. There will also be street closings and parking bans in effect in the above areas for World Series-clinching games.
