Dear Members and Prospective Members, Our upcoming Member breakfast is slated for Wednesday, October 15th from 8am to 10am at Villa Maria Ristorante and Catering Hall. We are proud to announce that our Keynote Speaker will be Mayor Jimmy Davis. Mr. Davis will be sharing with us his goals and visions for the Bayonne Business Community, the benefits of having your business in Bayonne in the future as well as future projects slated in town. In addition we have just confirmed that one of our other guest speakers will be Mr. Charles Archer. For over 20 years, Charles Archer has inspired people, teams, and companies to build better consensus through empowerment and effective communication. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania in 1996, Charles continued to pursue his education, earning a Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School in 2001, and a Masters of Public Administration degree from City University New York in 2011. Mr. Archer has just released his most recent book “Everybody Paddles” and he will be speaking on how to: • Create a culture of teamwork and camaraderie. • Guide leaders to empower others and ensure consistent productivity from staff. • Learn techniques for bringing out the best in others. • Sharing inspiring stories and real-life examples of how to overcome workplace obstacles and achieve success. In conclusion, as you know it is our mission at the Bayonne Chamber of Commerce to bring value to our members as well as the community, so I urge you to please mark this date on your calendar and attend this breakfast because just as the premise of Mr. Archer book, When a raft full of people is plunging through rapids, it is vital that every oar and every person is actively contributing at every turn. We as a business community need to all paddle together and together we will make through the rough rapids!
