Dear Members and friends of Goa Chitra, Greetings from Goa Chitra. We would like to thank you once again for your continuous support to Goa Chitra and for being there to help us follow this dream of preserving the past for posterity. Goa Chitra was recently visited by the God Father of Hollywood Cinema, Mr. Robert De Niro and his daughter Ms. Drena De Niro . He spent two hours at Goa Chitra. Mr. Di Niro said” This museum is a treasure trove and an amazing great place. I just loved it. Every time I know of somebody visiting Goa, India, I will definitely highly recommend the Goa Chitra Museum”. Incidentally , The Goa Chitra museum has had other celebrities like Gulzar, Orhan Pumuk, Kiran Desai , Ex CAG of India, Mr. Vinod, Rai, Kumari Selja amongst others visit it and has been featured in the TIME international magazine as a Must See place and as a Hidden Gem in the National Geographic . 16th November at Goa Chitra received an overwhelming response. The crowds poured in with high expectations which were satiated with quality performance by the Countrysilk band from Mumbai. From the word go people were on the dance floor with an encore resonating the walls of the amphitheatre the audience were treated to all time country and western favourites. We look forward to seeing you for our next upcoming exclusive event “STARRY, STARRY NIGHT ” featuring featuring the legendary retro band, “ACOUSTRIX” on the 30th of November, 2013, 8 pm onwards featuring well known and established musicians from Mumbai, Barry (Acoustic lead guitar/vocals), Desmond (Acoustic guitar/vocals), Benny (Drums) and Berty (Acoustic Bass guitar/vocals). The concert will be held at Goa Chitra, Benaulim on 30th of November, 2013 from 8:00 pm – 10pm followed by dinner.
