Dear Members of The Forum from across the World: ----------------------------------------- Let this serve as a small note that Mr Standeford,the Founder & Owner of Troubled Earth Expositions,has chosen to take a sabbatical of a month or two. He has found some merit in me ( which, I am sure,doesnt exist ) and handed over the administration of the Forum to me,pro temp I am an MD Pediatrician from India and have some 30 years idea of what,how,when,why,where people write. I hate to call it an experience of 30 years , one,since it spells out my age , and, second, that I may appear very accomplished ! I have just a few small qualities that should help me being your host at the Forum. I listen, I hear,I see, I touch,I smell, I breathe, I imagine, I visualise,I dream I construe, I .....well, I just happen to care for what some people have to say ! I am, but a facilitator and am here just as an ambassador for you all ! While Mr Standeford was in the process of delegation of the Forum, he made me a small message that struck me as so representative and true of the ethos of the Forum. So,please do read his thought and get an insight into what we are really looking forward to : --------------------------------------------- 1 we do want to hear grievances but we more want to just know about what you all hear, see,touch,taste, smell...... 2 what you see on your street, what you eat, who your friends are, what your friends like.... 3 what view you have from your porch -- a valley, meadow, or noisy neighbors... 4 local,regional and personal grievances will come on their own inevitably , yet, we are a cozy ear to hear,but we dont much like to hear only petty complaints, Politics and a current plague, Terrorism. These are,as of now, not in keeping with our thought 5 there will always be sadness and moments of joy in all lives .... we are here to hear your pain, here to revel with you All in all, we want to experience YOUR LIVES through your WRITINGS.... Any guild of Writers has to have a basic philosophy. Please do revert with your thoughts.
