Dear Mia, Ive kept you warm, fed, and snuggled in my nest as long as I could. Now the time has come to let my little bird fly. There are so many things I need for you to remember before I let you walk through those doors. Please dont ever forget who you really are once you go inside. Always remember where you came from and dont ever forget that we love you. Remember whos got your back. Remember to mind your manners and always be kind to others. Dont forget that your sister, Ava, will always be your very best friend... no matter what! Remember to turn your back on the friends that just want to pull you down. They arent really your friends anyway. Please dont forget all the years Ive rubbed your tummy and rocked you to sleep in my arms. I wont ever forget. I promise. Remember you will always be Paw Paws little girl. Remember to listen carefully and complete your work. Remember you have nothing to prove to Paw Paw and me... we love you just the way you are... our sassy, sweet, smart, spunky and special child made perfectly in the image of God. Now you just need to convince yourself of that and be the treasure to the world that God created you to be. Youve got this Mia. And please dont ever take your beautiful blue eyes off where youre going. I have prayed out loud with you every night for God to help you make the right choices to live a life thats pleasing to Him. Dont forget the prayers weve shared preparing you for the journey that starts on the other side of those doors. So many things I want you to remember this morning as I send you out into this big hard world, but most importantly of all remember you are a child of God and because of that you will NEVER be alone out there.
