Dear Mom, This page is my diary to you. My greatest hope is that someday you will have the chance to read it and see your journey and how far you have come. Although, if Im being honest there is somedays, days when the light is on and no one is home that I beg for you to go, I beg for your peace, for my peace, for peace. Then, you do something simple, like lift your eyebrowns at a joke. In those moments I am renewed and begging for you to work harder and to come back sooner. I know your having a tough week, I know the battle is hard, but Thursday is Thanksgiving and dammit! I am Thankful. Thank you for a sense of humor, and the ability to seeing the importance in breaking the rules. Thank you for my sisters, they are my arms, and when I am drowning they keep me afloat. Thank you for your siblining, I have you in their voices and hugs. Thank you for your unconditional love and acctepance, and allowing me to choose my own path, even if its not what you would have chosen. Thank you for my cousins, who have been my sisters without fail because of the example that you and your cousins have set for us. Thank you for good health and showing me the importance of lifestyle choices. Thank you for choosing me to be yours, it is a gift I can never repay, except in showing you everyday that no matter the path you may choose, that I love and accept you uncondtionally. No matter where this road leads, I am thankful.
