Dear Mother, For what ridiculously insane logic have you made me attend and join the merry-making Christmas parties of the kuffar today? Am I not born a Muslim? Is Allahu taala not my Only God to whom I should make sujood to? Is Allahs message in the Qur-an about the ways of the kuffar still not clear to you? Is the undeniable fact that Allahu taala has given us brains not sufficient enough for us to use and see the possible consequences of our deeds? Are the beautiful morally-sound Islamic teachings we have, not appealing to you that our knees are too weak to stand for them, defend them, and preach the the truthfulness of its morals? Why do you send me to parties where shaytanic music and erotic dances proliferate? Why do you put make-up on me and force me to look like one of the ogling women of the kuffar and dress me immodestly inviting dangers to my own fragile self? Is the fake make-up and air-brushed looks more beautiful in your eyes than the natural look given to me by Allahu taala? For what sins I made, oh dear mother , you teach this, you made me sacrifice my hayaa, my sense of shame, ripping me off the last remnants of my iman and fear of Allahu taala! Will you answer these for me when Allahu taala takes my soul and I am buried six feet under? If you have loved me dearly and truly, this is not the direction you should be sending me to. Thank you if you see this as a gift of happiness being a mother, but I am contentedly happy with Islam in my heart. I am contentedly happy knowing my iman grows in every trial. And I am not one of those who will even play the role of the kuffar just to please them. This path will never lead to my own salvation but will catapult me instead towards my own damnation, to my own destruction which will never help me become a good muslimah someday who will know how to take care of you and be good to you and pray for you in this life and in the hereafter.
