Dear Mr. Mayor: We understand that it is NOT an election year for you, so were doubtful as to whether you will consider our request seriously. However, we would like to propose that you make our block a quiet zone between the hours of 11pm and 9 am each day (thats our time to sleep in the big bed). We want you to ban all machinery, all squealing kids, all loud cats, all chirping birds, all boom-boom-boom audio systems, all nattering neighbors, all instances of thunder (rolling or otherwise), etc., etc. We even suggest the signs you can use ... Let Sleeping Dogs .... Sleep. Please let us know if we can answer any questions ... and please provide us with a timeline for executing our request.
