Dear Mr.Minister of Finance....e hell or high water I will not be paying a payroll tax. Let me burn in hell or drown in the high water! Enough is enough! Mr Minister of introducing taxes I cannot afford to have one dollar taken out of my salary. The cost of living here is extremely high and the only solution to that is to find more ways to deduct monies from meager earnings. We accepted NIB.....we accepted NHIP.....we accepted CPF.....and you really think were going to let you shove another tax on us? HELL NO! Now if you cant find other ways and means of attracting investment into this country , and your only means of raising revenue is taxing the poor then its obvious youre the wrong man for the job. I dont see any schools being built or roads being paved. Children are still going to school in containers. Where is all the money going? In the hairy bank? We dont have to sit down an allow taxes to be shoved down our throats! Maybe you need to visit IGA one day and check the price of a deodorant, a gallon of milk or a box of cereal! All these taxes have a trickling effect. The rich is getting poor and the poor is getting poorer. Are you trying to get blood out of a stone? Many people cant even pay bills and buy food with the little wages theyre making and you and your government want a piece of the slice of pie they have. I dont remember seeing all of these taxes in your manifesto!
